Terms and Conditions
In becoming a member of Matchmakers Dating Ltd, I agree to adhere to the terms and conditions as set out below:
- At the time of joining, I am at least 18 years of age and either single, widowed, divorced or legally separated. I have no criminal record or history of mental illness, alcohol or substance abuse.
- I agree to provide information that is current, true and accurate. I understand that it is my responsibility to notify Matchmakers if any of my personal information changes and that Matchmakers Dating Ltd is not responsible for the accuracy of any material provided by their members. I release Matchmakers from all liability, losses, damages, claims, cause of action, lawsuits and expenses arising out of the use of its services.
- As a member, I understand that I must not engage or be suspected of engaging in any illegal activities, exhibit any abusive or discriminatory behaviour, engage in any sexual harassment or send offensive messages and/or images. I must ensure that my conduct complies with all applicable laws.
- To become a member I agree to provide my full name, address, contact telephone number and an email address. I agree to present my driving licence, passport or another form of official identification to verify my identity when requested.
- I agree to pay the membership fee in advance of any services being carried out. I acknowledge and agree that Matchmakers does not offer refunds in whole or in part for a change of mind in relation to using their services or meeting a partner outside this service. I understand that Matchmakers does offer a freeze of membership if my circumstances change and I have informed them in writing of my request. Membership is non-transferable and non-saleable.
- I agree not to hold Matchmakers Dating Ltd liable for any loss or damage incurred through any dealings with third parties or partners whose services are made available to members. I understand that Matchmakers take every step to ensure third party partners are reliable and trustworthy.
- I agree not to disclose any of my experiences, or the identity of anyone I have met through Matchmakers to other members or anyone including media outlets without the permission of the member and Matchmakers.
- Matchmakers Dating Ltd reserves the right to terminate your membership if you are found guilty of breaching the terms and conditions or you engage in inappropriate behaviour. There will be no reimbursement if membership is terminated due to the violation of the above mentioned terms and conditions. Matchmakers Dating Ltd has no liability to you if it terminates your membership and you waive all rights you may have had against Matchmakers Dating Ltd in respect of such conduct.
- Matchmakers may at any time refuse membership to any person without reason and at its sole discretion.
- Your membership entitles you to unlimited introductions. However, we believe in quality over quantity and do not guarantee frequency of introductions. Due to our commitment to quality, we will not be held liable for any delay in performing any of our obligations or services. However, if you have not found a partner within 12 months of membership we will offer you another six months membership free of charge.
- I give my consent for Matchmakers to release personal information such as information gathered in my client profile and the consultation to prospective matches. My contact details will only be released with my consent. However, Matchmakers may disclose personal information if it is required by law.
- I understand that Matchmakers is data protection registered and complies with relevant data protection laws.
